Beetlejuice Jr is an hour-long adaptation of the cult-favorite 2019 musical designed especially for performers 18 and under.  Adapted directly from the full-length Broadway hit musical Beetlejuice, the ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in this edgy junior adaptation of everyone’s favorite irrelevant musical comedy based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film.  Beetlejuice tells the hauntingly comedic yet touching story of Lydia Deetz.  A strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole “being dead thing”.  Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple (Adam and Barbara Maitland) and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zeat for life.  Trying to help the newlyweds maintain possession of thier home, Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse by calling his name thrice, allowing him to materialize and wreak havoc.  The double-crossing specter, however, shows his true stripes…unleashing a netherworld of pandemonium.
