Artist-in-Residence
2027-2029: Jenn Tordil
We are thrilled to introduce Jenn Tordil as Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette’s 2027 to 2029 Artist in Residence!
Jenn is a multidisciplinary visual artist and longtime local art educator whose work spans painting, drawing, printmaking, murals, realistic rendering and community-based projects. At the heart of her work is something we care deeply about at Civic, too: storytelling, connection and community!
Throughout her residency, Jenn will create original artwork inspired by the stories Civic brings to the stage, using a variety of mediums to visually interpret our productions.
Theatre tells stories onstage and Jenn will get to tell those stories through visual art and we cannot wait to see where her creativity takes them.
2026-2027: Youth Artists
For the 2026-2027 season, our show artwork was created by 9 talent young people. The work of these young artists will be featured all season long in the Civic Theatre lobby.
We look forward to highlighting the talent of these extraordinary artists all season long!
Interested in purchasing one of the pieces? Email Raquel Lopez at raquel@lafayettecivic.org. 100% of the sales go to the youth artists.
2024-2026: Sarah Ruh
She is now a full-time artist and is actively involved in the local arts community. She previously served as the director of the Haan Museum of Indiana Art in Lafayette, and is now the president of the Wabash Valley Artists Society. She was recently named as the Artist in Residence for Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette.
Sarah’s artwork has been featured as part of our 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons.
